Bob Irwin
President and CEO, Sterling Commerce

Bob Irwin is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sterling Commerce. Irwin has been the company's top sales executive and a key member of the company's executive team since joining in 2002.

Prior to taking the post as president, Irwin was Senior Vice President, Americas Sales. In this role, Irwin was responsible for strategic leadership of the Sterling Commerce Americas sales team, where he helped transform the company's sales organization.

Irwin has more than 21 years of experience through work at IBM, several technology consulting practices, and as an information technology (IT) executive. As an IT executive at leading financial services and healthcare companies, Irwin gained invaluable experience in the technology field. This experience built upon his work at IBM, where he began his career as a major account salesperson for four years, followed by three years as a major account sales manager. After IBM, he built three successful technology consulting practices in the areas of software development, network engineering, and business management.


Joel Reed
Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, Sterling Commerce

Joel Reed is the Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Sterling Commerce responsible for product management and marketing, industry marketing and corporate communications and marketing.

With over 25 years experience directing hardware and software technology companies, Reed has a successful track record of building and growing organizations with a focus on delivering strong business results. During his tenure at Sterling Commerce, he has held leadership roles driving Product Marketing, Industry Marketing and Strategic Alliances including the AT&T Channel relationship. Reed’s previous software experiences include Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for NetRegulus Inc., and Vice President of Product Marketing for J D Edwards and PeopleSoft.

Reed earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.


John Thompson
Senior Vice President and General Manager, BestBuy.com

John Thompson is the senior vice president and general manager of BestBuy.com, the wholly owned Internet subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc., a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services. Thompson, named one of the “75 Most Powerful Blacks in Corporate America” by Black Enterprise (February 2005) and recipient of the Career Achievement Award from the retail systems group (April 2006), is responsible for all aspects of the business unit, including operations and P&L.

Thompson joined Best Buy as senior vice president of supply chain and business systems for Best Buy stores in April 2001. Prior to joining Best Buy, Thompson was chief information officer and senior vice president for customer service, information systems, distribution, logistics and e-business functions at Liz Claiborne, Inc. Thompson also spent several years at Goody's Family Clothing, Inc. where he was chief information officer and executive vice president of merchandise planning and logistics. Prior positions include vice president of information systems and distribution for the Lee Apparel Company, a division of the VF Corporation and co-founder of Quick Response Services, Inc. He spent 15 years at General Electric Company with increasing levels of responsibility in marketing, logistics, finance and operations.

Thompson currently serves on the board of directors of.Best Buy Children's Foundation, Voluntary Inter-Industry Commerce Standards (VICS), Belk Department Stores, BRAG (Black Retail Action Group), Walker Art Center, Cristo Rey Jesuit School Network and the Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation. Thompson has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mercy College.


Stacie Derousseau
Vice President, IT, Hostess Brands, Inc.

Stacie Derousseau is the Vice President of Information Technology at Hostess Brands, Inc. One of the nation's largest wholesale bakers and distributors of fresh delivered bread and snack cakes in the United States; employing approximately 21,000 people, operating in 39 bakeries and approximately 700 outlet stores. In her current role, she is responsible for leading the Back Office Transformation and Transformation Integration activities for Hostess.

Derousseau joined Hostess Brands as Vice President of Business Systems. Prior to joining Hostess Brands, Derousseau was the Vice President of Enterprise Systems, office of the CIO, for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). She was responsible for managing all internal application development and support for EDS globally. Derousseau also spent 18 years working for PepsiCo as their Vice President of Back Office Systems; as well as their Director of Financial and Purchasing Solutions and Group Manager for Applications Development – Frito Lay Division.

Derousseau earned a Bachelor and Master's of Science, in Computer Science from Wichita State University. She is known as a highly effective executive with extensive information technology experience leading global teams to build strategic plans, execute successful business process and system implementations for multi-billion dollar corporations.
